Welcome to Soulstice

I thought I would first start by sharing a bit about me.

I had hoped to get this business off the ground in June but ran into some complications with securing some commercial space to rent and getting all the proper schedules and pricing in plac.

Most of my life I have been putting off getting into the world of self-employment because I focused on the excuses too much. The desire to be in control of my career path keeps resurfacing in my life and the call to get started is getting more and more difficult to put off.

Since I was a child I have known that I wanted to be a business owner. I just didn’t know what business I was being called to. I searched for a long time for my calling and took a lot of wrong turns. ALOT! But I learned a lot of important things as well by learning what I don’t want in my life.

So, I finally feel closer now than ever to my calling. I trust my inner voice and can better spot what careers & opportunities do not align with my true self. At this stage of life, I feel more inspired than ever.

I have learned to be comfortable with the topic of death and dying as I have lost a lot of people close to me.

Fortunately, my parents were always good about not shielding us from death & dying, but instilling in us that it’s an inescapable part of life. That it is an honor to be close to those we let into our lives and honor to hold space however we can when they transition out of the physical and into their truest soul-self.

This can happen in many ways and for me, it’s through Death Doula work. I want to make this process meaningful for those passing and for those they leave behind. There’s a better, more beautiful, better way to help people transition. I’d like us to get just as comfortable transitioning people who are passing as we are with people coming into the world.

I hope you will join me in this new chapter! I would love for us to celebrate our lives and our loved ones. My hope is we empower each other through our shared experiences to create a village that elevates our spiritual selves.
